Hi, I am going to start my new life as my husband has been taking the meds for 3 years and I have been taking it for the last two years. I have been trying to get a job, but I have had very bad luck. The doctors say that it is not working and the side effects have been awful. The only way I can really trust myself to do it is to have a doctor visit to see what is going on with me and to be honest, my health is not well. I am in my late 30's and I take my meds in pill form. My doctor has prescribed Cialis and I have been taking them for about 4 years. I have been told by the doctors that it is not working and that the side effects have been awful. I am wondering if there is any drug that is cheaper, or other pills that is cheaper than Cialis. I am taking my meds in pill form and have been experiencing a few mild side effects. My question is, if I am taking Cialis and a pill of Cialis I am more likely to have side effects that are not very serious and if the side effects were not severe and if it was not causing them. I have been using Cialis for about 3 years now, but I am concerned about my health. I am going to try to find a cheaper version of Cialis, as I know there are many cheaper versions of this drug. I am going to try to find one that is the same as the original Cialis. I am going to give it a try and see how I feel. I know the side effects are bad but I can't give the results I have been experiencing. I am going to try to find one that has the same potency as the original Cialis but has fewer side effects than the original. I will give it a try and let the doctors know. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the replies,

I was just thinking about the side effects of Cialis. I think I will try it and see what I experience and what I can tolerate. Thanks!

I was going to take some Cialis and it was not as effective as before. I tried everything and then my doctor put me on 10mg of the generic version and I felt terrible. I was given a lot of directions for use and I was told I would have to be on 10mg. My husband is the only one who uses the generic Cialis and he was very unhappy with how bad it was. We are now on 10mg. I took it for 5 months and it did work. I don't know if it works for everyone, but it works for me.

I also had some side effects, including the headache and nausea. The dose of Cialis and the amount of time it took to work and the side effects of the pill. I have not been taking Cialis for a while and I am a very happy person. It has been a good experience to have been able to get to know a lot about Cialis and to get the side effects that I wanted to have.

I did see some things in your post and it is good to hear that you had a little more side effects. I hope my experience has helped you in your journey. I am glad to hear it helps. It is good to hear that your doctor is happy with the outcome. I hope to get my husband on the same level. I hope I will see him again.

Good Luck

I was taking 10mg of Cialis. It was very difficult to take, but the doctor told me that the dose is still too much and I had to take another 10mg of the generic version. I was then told that the Cialis pill would not work. I was very confused and was given a phone call to a different doctor who told me to take the pills and they had a very bad reaction. I was then told that I should not take them. I was then given a script for Cialis and the tablets were not working. I was given this to see if I could find something cheaper. I am having an interesting conversation with my friend from my family who works in a nursing home. I understand the side effects and I hope that this is not something that will be taken by the doctors who have been there and done that. It may not be the drug or the doctor who prescribed it but it is something that has been working for me. I hope this helps.

I hope that my husband is not going to be taking any of the drugs that I have been using.

    Interactions

    A. Top Drug-Drug Interactions:

1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).

2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.

3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.

    Other Drug-Drug interactions:

    • Ketoconazole, itraconazole (used to manage fungal infection)
    • Protease inhibitors (used to manage HIV infection) Ex. ritonavir, lopinavir
    • Phenobarbital, phenytoin, carbamazepine (medicines used for fits)
    • Rifampicin, erythromycin, clarithromycin (medicines used for bacterial infections)
    • Other medicines used to improve blood flow to the penis (Ex. sildenafil)

    B. Drug-Food Interactions:

Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:

    1. Grapefruit and Grapefruit Juice: Grapefruit can increase the levels of tadalafil in your blood by interfering with its metabolism. This may amplify side effects, such as headaches, dizziness, or low blood pressure. Avoid consuming grapefruit or grapefruit juice while taking Cialis.
    2. Alcohol: Drinking alcohol with Cialis can enhance the blood pressure-lowering effects of the medication, leading to symptoms like dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting. Limiting alcohol intake is recommended while using Cialis.
    3. High-Fat Meals: While Cialis can be taken with or without food, consuming it with a high-fat meal may delay its onset of action. Opt for lighter meals if rapid effectiveness is needed.
    4. Caffeine: Though not a direct interaction, combining Cialis with high caffeine intake might worsen side effects like headaches or increase heart rate in sensitive individuals.

If you have any new or questions about taking Cialis, consult your doctor.Other Drug-Food interactions:

    • Eldole antacid, used to treat heartburn or indigestion
    • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other medications for this condition
    • Ketoconazole, a medication used to manage hypertension
    • Protease inhibitors (such as Ex. ritonavir, lopinavir)
    • Phenobarbital, a medication used to treat anxiety
    • Other medications that affect blood pressure

    C. Contraindication:

You have a medical emergency in your heart failure or liver disease states, or you are being treated with certain medications for the emergency in your eyes.

Dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting are usually mild in people taking Cialis, but you or your doctor may need to adjust the dosage or discontinue the medication per your instructions.
